Privacy Policy

Black Gold Property Protection collects only the information you choose to provide when requesting an estimate, sending a bug-identification photo or contacting the business. This may include your name, phone number, email address, city or ZIP code, optional property address, requested services, property details, message and uploaded photographs.

How information is used

Inquiry information is used to respond to your request, review the property, prepare service recommendations, communicate about requested services and maintain ordinary business records.

How the estimate form works

When online delivery is activated, the website will send completed estimate requests to Black Gold through a contracted transactional-email provider and send a confirmation to the email address supplied by the customer. The form does not authorize service or create a charge.

Bug-photo requests

Bug-photo requests and their contact details are stored in a private website database. Uploaded images are kept in private object storage and are available through randomized, access-controlled review links sent to Black Gold. Compatible JPEG, PNG and WebP metadata is removed during processing; HEIC metadata removal may not be available. Photographs are not published or used for marketing without separate permission.

Sharing

Black Gold does not sell inquiry information. Information may be shared with service providers only when needed to operate the website or business, or when required by law.

Retention and security

Information is retained only as reasonably needed for inquiries, service records and legal obligations. Reasonable safeguards may be used, but no internet or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may request access, correction or deletion of inquiry information, subject to any legal recordkeeping requirement, by emailing jeremy@blackgoldwi.com.
